CHIEF
INSTRUCTOR
SENSEI PHIL NOBLE 3RD DAN
Sensei Phil has been
involved in karate for 33 years and holds
the rank of 3rd Dan. He is the Chief
Instructor of Shindo Karate. Sensei Phil
had a highly successful tournament career
including 5 Australian titles and was a
member of the Australian karate team for
6 years travelling all over the world to
countries including Egypt, Mexico, Spain
and Great Britain.
Sensei Phil runs the
Hoppers Crossing branch of Shindo Karate
and is a coach to the Victorian state
karate team. He is an instructor in
tactical self defence to the Victoria
Police Force.

INSTRUCTORS :
WAYNE NOBLE 3RD DAN
Sensei Wayne has been
involved in karate for 33 years and holds
the rank of 3rd Dan. He won 2 Australian
titles during his days of competition and
is our resident weapons expert. Sensei
Wayne runs our Bacchus Marsh dojo and
specialises in teaching Kata (forms). Sensei Wayne is a member of the Australian Karate Team Coaching Panel. Sensei Wayne is a qualified Fitness Instructor, his whole
family is involved with Shindo karate.

Caitlin, 19 (black belt), Sarah, 16
(black belt) and Max 12 (black
belt).
VINCE BROGNA 3RD DAN
Sensei Vince has been
involved in karate for 33 years and
currently holds the rank of 3rd dan. He
began his karate at the tender age of six
years old. He is known for his
strong and spectacular kicking. Sensei
Vince runs our very successful branch in
Altona Meadows.
RAY VELLA 3RD DAN
Sensei Ray has been involved in Karate
for 33 years and holds the rank of 3rd
Dan. He is the Senior Instructor at Derrimut Heath Dojo in Hoppers Crossing
and holds a Level 2 coaching
accreditation. Sensei Ray is married with
two adult children and his other
interests include basketball and bike riding.
ALAN HILL 3RD DAN
Sensei Alan has been involved with Shindo
Karate for the past 17 years and started
as a parent watching his son trained. He
is passionate about the ideals of Karate.
Sensei Alan's expertise ranging from
self defence to his breathtaking karate
breaking techniques (Tameshiwari).
Sensei Alan operates the Williamstown
Dojo in conjunction with Sempai Julie
Marr.
